In the News
We are Joe & Beth Giampietro, lifetime residents of this beautiful historical town of Sandwich.  We always said we would love to run a B&B or bakery in this town.
I (Beth) was on my way home from my previous job in Mashpee when I decided to go a more scenic way home, through our beautiful town. I saw two separate buildings for sale, both of which would have been lovely places for a bakery.  I told Joe about them and we decided to just ask a few questions . . . well,  that is all it took as we started down the path, there was no turning back.
With a strong faith in God we know that He guided us in every step along the way. We have a saying in our building "We have a double portion of Faith".  The building was originally built for a Puritan Church and then later owned by the Catholic Church. It certainly did take a double portion of Faith to even proceed with this project.
We love people and truly care if they have a good experience in our place.  We invite you to enjoy the atmosphere of peace and tranquility. " A heart of peace gives life to the body". Prov. 14:30.
Come sit down and enjoy the aromas, tastes and peace in this place we call Beth's  Special Teas.
Beth's Special Teas
The History of our building; It was originally built as a Puritan Church nearly 175 years ago. The Church existed for about 15 years and was then sold and converted into a hardware store for about 50 years. Followed by the Corpus Christi Church, using it for religious instruction and allowing use for many community events. At one time even as a USO Hall. In 1992 the building was sold to the Maddens who did a terrific job in rehabilitating it. They retailed specialty items and antiques. And now, in 2007... Beth's Special Teas Bakery & Café.
Sandwich's Historical sights such as the Sandwich Boardwalk, Glass Museum,
Hoxie House, Dexter Grist Mill, & many others are within walking distance from us.
